Today I started sewing and put together the train base and some of the ruffles. For the ruffles I used a ruffler- foot for my sewing machine so every tiny pleat has the same size... It is not historical accurate I know, but it is my favorite foot and I simply had to use it!
The description said to only use lace on the bottom ruffle, but I liked it so much that I decided there should be lace on every ruffle. Unfortunately I ran out of lace finishing the 5th...

Luckily I found the very same lace on ebay and am now waiting to get more. In the meantime I finished the ruffles leaving gaps on the ends to fix it later on.
